Save Polaroid!

Monday, February 25th, 2008

On February 8, 2008 Polaroid Corporation announced that it will discontinue production of the instant film that made the company a household name. This site, savepolaroid.com, will document the aftermath of this announcement and will serve as a home-base for the effort to convince another company to take over and begin producing the cherished technology that Polaroid has abandoned.

Lets hope another company buys the license to make the film, like Fujifilm or Ilford.

Take a look. Some great testimonials and stories from all over. If your up to it, sign one of the petitions or take it further. Thanks savepolaroid.com!
