Ivan is an amazing artist. If you are in Portland check out his latest show at the Newspace center for Photography.

Ivan Wentland’s stunning series of color photographs titled “Beautifully Broken”. Living in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mr. Wentland, through experimenting and curiosity, has developed a unique chemical manipulation he first conceived during three years of working in commercial advertising. The images are first shot with an SX-70 Polaroid camera using Time Zero film, at which time the manipulation is done with heat. High-resolution scans are made and then printed as limited edition lambda prints. No Photoshop is used in this process.
