ART DIRECTOR & CREATIVE GENERALIST

Patrick Winfield

Designs true outcome is simply people making useful things for other people.

Patrick’s first foray into design began in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley, where he spent his free time drawing, photographing and collaging. Always inspired by the friction of the creative process, he bounced from one medium to another before realizing the magic happened when he combined them.

This early hunger for knowing how to fit disparate pieces together to create something entirely new eventually led him to New York City. There, he spent years honing his craft within various ad agencies and in-house teams, pushing the requirements of every brief into unique ways that created new ground for brands to thrive.

Patrick approaches every day as a new opportunity to push his craft. He believes the best way to do that is to remain consistently curious and trust in the process.

He believes that successful design requires the message, the tone, and the format to work in total co-dependence to achieve a whole greater than the sum of its individual parts.

Patrick lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife and their Chihuahua, Pablo. When he is not creating visual design for clients or collaborating with other makers on personal projects, he can be found drawing inspiration from the region on hikes and photo-walks, reading about natural history or tending to his garden. That ever-evolving nature of the outdoors is what keeps his creative engine inspired.

At the end of the day, he is a good human bringing professionalism, humility, and enthusiasm to every project, focused on creating great work with good people and leaving things better than he found them.

Stay humble. Work hard.
